My family of three came to this location when it was not at all busy. We were seated quickly and had our drink orders taken. However, after ordering we would wait over an hour for our food. Keep in mind, this location was not busy. People arriving twenty minutes after us were seated, served, and gone before our food arrived. When we finally got our food, our bill was reduced. However, nothing was said by a manager, and their only excuse was “oh, we accidentally gave your shrimp to someone else.” So folks, if you come to this cracker barel, make sure you have two and a half hours of time free.

Service is ok, cooks are slow, takes forever to pay. Good food at a good price.

Food was really good. They messed up breakfast order at dinner time. Egg whites, turkey sausage, grits, tomatoe and fruit. The members of my group were almost done before I received my meal. Also they forgot to bring out the biscuits and cornbread with the other meals and didn't ask if wanted refills. Different waitress came out and made things right. No I am sorry for the delay from first waitress. Nothing done at checkout either.

Lots of food for the price! The gift store was also packed with lots of bargains. Love the country atmosphere. There are no booths like Bob Evans, however.

I'm not normally someone who writes reviews online, but my poor experience at Cracker Barrel this morning warrants one. I arrived with my family (five adults and one baby) and we requested a table for five. The restaurant was quite busy, and there appeared to be some consternation about finding a table for our group. No problem - we were happy to wait. Before we went outside to wait, the hostess indicated to me (with vague impatience) that we needed a table for six. I replied that we didn't need a sixth chair - we can easily hold our baby, and usually do at restaurants as she is too small for a high chair. She is a baby, not a toddler. Now in most restaurants, this is where the hostess would say, "Are you sure?" or "Okay, no problem." But not at Cracker Barrel. The hostess looked at me with inarguable condescension and said, "Well, she's not going to sit on the floor." The tone made it sound like, "She's not going to sit on the floor, you moron." I was shocked. Since when do hostesses mouth off to customers who voice a harmless comment? I replied, "I know she's not going to sit on the floor," (also thinking - what is wrong with you?) and at that point, realizing she had made a mistake, the hostess tried to cover with some rambling explanation of their policy concerning high chairs for children. Now remember, all we were trying to do was have breakfast. Long story short, we didn't let it ruin our morning, and we had a pleasant breakfast (though one other bizarre moment - our server, a very nice young woman, informed me with some embarrassment that their cooks preferred not to poach eggs. The oddness of that speaks for itself). Anyway, I can't imagine why a hostess would be so blatantly rude and obnoxious to a customer. Note to Cracker Barrel management: you are here to earn the loyalty of your customers - not try to belittle and talk down to them. There are a lot of other places to eat breakfast in the area that aren't rude to customers.
